What works, what to weigh

+

Strengths

4 reasons to book
  • Staff go above and beyond — Multiple guests call out the reception team by name, describing them as helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable — some say the service is five-star despite the hotel's rating.
  • Breakfast wins consistent praise — Reviewers describe the buffet as delicious, with a huge variety of options — some highlight eating on the terrace with mountain views.
  • Comfortable, quiet rooms — Guests note good sound insulation, comfortable beds, and cleanliness. Some rooms have balconies with Tatra Mountain views.
  • Family-friendly facilities — A children's pool, play area, game room, board games, and babysitting services are available, making it a practical choice for families.

Worth weighing

3 to weigh
  • A way from the centre — Several guests mention the hotel is a 30–40 minute walk downhill from Zakopane's centre — a return uphill that may not suit everyone. For ski lifts and the bus stop, the location is praised.
  • Rooms can be small — At least one reviewer notes the rooms are rather small, though they were able to move to a larger one. Economy and guest rooms don't all list mountain views.
  • Internet can be spotty — A reviewer specifically mentions problems with the internet connection, despite the hotel advertising Wi-Fi throughout.

“Family-run business, and Andre the manager and desk clerk is amazing – very helpful and on top of things. The hotel is new and nice, with a lift. Rooms are rather small (we moved to a larger one after the first night). Breakfast is good, the place is well landscaped with great views. Three stars, but five in service. Comfortable beds, good price.”

8.8Verified guest

“Room was tastefully decorated, spacious, and comfortable. Staff, especially Natalie, were helpful and knowledgeable. The hotel is well-managed and highly recommended. There's a late-night mini supermarket nearby. Pool and sauna were great, fresh feeling. Breakfast delicious, view from the room superb, and a large green area in front with a playground and playroom.”
